"Bob Raymond's Contribution to History"
White Sulphur Springs Ranch House
Painting Restoration
The Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council lost a good friend and supporter when Bob Raymond succumbed to brain cancer in March of 2017. Bob and his wife Kathy, long time residents of Plumas County, were married at White Sulphur Springs Ranch in 1985.
Bob re-painted the old Ranch House in the fall of 2012, donating much of his time and expertise to a place he and Kathy were very fond of. His business, Bob Raymond Painting, was the very first business member to join the Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council in 2015.
The whole volunteer family is sad that he could not see the completion of the work he so richly contributed to. A celebration of his life was held April 1, 2017, at Longboards restaurant. The place was packed with almost 400 of his friends, neighbors and loved ones as a tribute to Bob's wonderful life. We hope Bob will look down with favor on the work that our volunteers are continuing.
