Log Cabin Fundraiser

May 01, 2014

The JAWBONE FLATS BAND appeared at the Log Cabin Restaurant on Thursday May 1, 2014. The Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council (MVSC) offered an evening of food and entertainment at this May Day fundraiser in support of White Sulphur Springs Ranch. The food, including ribs, chili and salad, was served at 5:30 and music was offered at 7:30. The band was on its way to Sacramento, and at the urging of Alice Berg, MVSC Board member, agreed to appear for one night at the Log Cabin in Portola. Cost per person was only $20. This fundraising event was to support the renovation of the pool area, especially the new bath house, at the Ranch.
